About our music director:

Ferdy Tumakaka, an alumnus of the Manhattan School of Music, has served as music director and arranger for musical productions in both his native Jakarta and New York. Since making his debut at 17 as First Prize Winner of the 2001 Jakarta Piano Competition, he has performed on three continents, served as music director for the New York Theatre Ballet, and recorded CDs including Ferdy Tumakaka: Developpes: Adagios for Dance. In 2007, he and Yamaha Rising Star Noriko Suzuki joined forces to form the critically-acclaimed piano duo Ferdiko (www.ferdiko.com).
